Liz Cooper is an artist and writer living and working in Ottawa, Canada.
Originally born in Romania, Liz walked through ancient forests, ran across vast mountain pastures, and spent time in villages where cows outnumbered people. Her upbringing in the land of myths, legends, and Gothic vampire sagas inspired her love of all things mystical and otherworldly.
An English Literature major, Liz became a published author of fantasy and paranormal romance novels at 23. Over the following decade, she wrote more than 20 romance novels for publishers such as Harlequin Enterprises. In addition to her successful novelist career, she explored her passion for creative entrepreneurship through various other avenues, including as a graphic designer and book cover artist.
Combining her love of storytelling with her fascination for the mystical, Liz now creates pieces rich in diverse characters and symbolism, reflecting her deep understanding of narrative structure and artistic techniques. When she's not writing or painting, you can find her reading, playing video games, or running Dungeons & Dragons adventures.
